Mirror Worlds is a puzzle game. It asks for no personal details in order to play, and requests no device permissions beyond internet access and the identifiers its advertising uses. This page sets out exactly what it does store, why, and how to get rid of it.
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| An anonymous identifier | Created for everyone when the app first starts | So your progress can be backed up and restored without asking you to sign up |
| Your game progress — levels solved, the fewest steps you took, and the stars you earned | As you play | To save your place, and to restore it if you change or reset your phone |
| Your email address, and your display name if your Google account has one | Only if you choose to sign in with Google or with an email address | To identify your account so progress follows you between devices |
| Your energy meter and the hints you have unlocked | As you play | Stored only on your own device, and never sent to us |
That is the complete list. The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, camera,
microphone, files, or phone number. Besides INTERNET and
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, it declares the advertising identifier permissions that the
Google Mobile Ads SDK requires — com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID and the
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_* group. Those are used by Google's advertising, not by us; we
never see them.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the two services above.
The game is not directed to children. It is configured for an audience of 13 and over.
Ads appear in three places: a full-screen ad between levels, and two optional videos you choose to watch — one for energy, one for help with a puzzle. The optional ones are never forced; declining them only means waiting, and the game is completable without watching any.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you are asked for advertising consent the first time you play, through Google's own consent form. Until you answer it, no ad is requested at all.
You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from Settings → PRIVACY OPTIONS inside the game. That button appears only where this applies — if you do not see it, you are not in a region that requires it.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalisation entirely, from your phone's own settings under Google → Ads. That control belongs to Android and applies to every app on the device, this one included.
Your progress and account are kept for as long as you keep the account. Delete them in the app and they are removed from our database immediately; backups held by Google are purged on their rolling schedule, within 90 days.
You can erase everything from inside the app, as a signed-in player or as a guest: Settings → DELETE ACCOUNT. Full instructions, and exactly what is removed, are on the account deletion page.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to how it is processed. Email mglepadat@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Mirror Worlds is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us their email address, email us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the updated date below will change and the new version will appear here before the change takes effect in the app.
